A closer look
A world that chooses colour.
Born in Brazil in 1963, Romero Britto developed a distinctive language of vivid colours, bold outlines and patterned surfaces. His paintings and sculptures invite us to notice the joyful side of everyday life.
After travelling to Europe in the 1980s, he moved to the United States. In Miami, his studio welcomed the public, bringing art into direct contact with everyday life.
Disney by Britto and Peanuts by Britto bring iconic characters into this pop imagination. Dots, stripes and blocks of colour turn each figure into a composition to explore from every angle. These are licensed collectibles, manufactured in series and shaped by the artist’s visual language.
