A conversation with Size
From the walls of La Spezia
Fabio, known as Size, began expressing himself on the walls of his hometown in the 1980s. Lettering and graffiti offered a voice and a way to challenge conventions. His connection to urban space remains part of his work across Liguria and Tuscany.
An imagination shaped by pop culture
Rap music, cinema and animation run through his paintings. Canvases carry the energy of murals, while characters from films, manga and television become colourful compositions connected to the viewer’s passions.
A canvas you can wear
Size also works on caps, jackets, shoes, backpacks and accessories. His Vintage collection revisits characters from the 1980s. Sidewalk’s current selection features finished, hand-painted caps: familiar objects with a personal mark.
